General Finishes exterior 450 - Satin Finish - Quart

Exterior 450 Topcoat is a clear-drying finish suitable for vertical exterior surfaces, such as fences, patio furniture, garage doors, entrance doors, and interior windows.

It is not recommended as a deck finish. Exterior 450 is fortified with UV absorbers to stabilize the finish and built-in mildewcide to retard mold and mildew growth. It performs well as a clear coat or an optional topcoat over General Finishes Milk Paint.

• Apply with brush or via HVLP sprayer
• Dries to a clear finish in 1 to 2 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.
• Do not apply in temperatures below 60deg; F.
• For outdoor use, make sure that the stain underneath is also rated for outdoor exposure.
• It can be used over most water and solvent-based stains.nbsp;
• Test a hidden area for compatibility to be sure.
• Sand lightly with 320 or higher grit paper between coats.
• Cleans up with soap and water.

Exterior 450 meets the environmental GREEN guidelines set forth for Architectural, Cabinets, and Furniture (EPA 40 CFR Parts 9, 59 & 63), California Wood Coatings (SCAQMD Rule 1136), Kitchen Cabinet Makers Association (ESP - Environmental Stewardship Program), and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
