5mm x 40mm Confirmat Screws
5mm x 40mm Confirmat Screws are specially designed for assembling melamine, MDF, particle board, and other panel materials commonly used in ready-to-assemble (RTA) and knock-down (KD) furniture. These specialized furniture screws create strong, secure 90-degree joints while providing a clean, professional appearance.
The 5mm x 40mm size is designed for use with 1/2 in. thick stock. The stepped design and deep threads help draw adjoining panels tightly together for dependable cabinet, furniture, shelving, and woodworking assembly.

Installation
- Pre-drill the panel material using the appropriate stepped Confirmat drill bit, such as the MS-5040.
- Position the two members at a 90-degree angle and align the pre-drilled holes.
- Drive the Confirmat screw using a #2 Pozi Drive driver bit until the head is properly seated below the surface.
- Install a decorative screw cap over the recessed screw head for a clean, finished appearance.

- Stepped Drill Bit: MS-5040 for proper Confirmat screw installation.
