Self-adjusting toggle clamps
BESSEY® Auto-Adjust Toggle Clamps have changed how toggle clamps are constructed with variable range clamping force and the ability to auto-adjust to variations in workpiece height while maintaining constant clamping force. Now workpieces of differing heights can be clamped quickly and securely – perfect for large and small-scale production situations. Performance flexibility offers advantages beyond traditional toggle clamps: safer operation, more consistent applied force, and more flexible tool cribs.
- Auto-adjustment of the jaw height – The BESSEY® Auto-Adjust Toggle Clamp self-adjusts to variations in workpiece height while maintaining clamping force.
- Adjustable clamping force – The integrated clamping force adjustment screw can vary the applied clamping force in a range.
- Adaptable base plate – Holes are sized and spaced for easy mounting and flexibility in metric and imperial. Use ¼" (M6) for BT-HH50, BT-HH70 and BT-IHH25; and 3/16" (M5) for the balance.
- Large ergonomic handle – Large, heat-resistant handles are designed with user comfort in mind. Soft inserts further reduce hand fatigue. –
- Corrosion resistance – Nickel plated coatings inhibit corrossion and extend tool life.

Proposition 65 (formally titled "The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986") is a California law that has been in effect since 1986 to promote clean drinking water and keep toxic substances that cause cancer and birth defects out of consumer products. It is administered by Cal/EPA's California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA). Proposition 65 regulates substances listed by California as causing cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm in two ways. The first regulatory arm of Proposition 65 prohibits businesses from knowingly discharging listed substances into drinking water sources, or onto land where the substances can pass into drinking water sources. The second regulatory arm of Proposition 65 prohibits businesses from knowingly exposing individuals to listed substances without providing a clear and reasonable warning.
