Cabinet Door Thickness

This Grass Tiomos Faceframe hinge kit is designed for cabinet doors up to 24 mm (approximately 15/16 in.) thick. If your cabinet doors are thicker than 24 mm, contact McFeely's Technical Support for help selecting the appropriate hinge components.

Recommended Soft-Close and Self-Close Hinge Combination

For most cabinet doors, Grass recommends using a combination of one soft-close hinge and one self-close hinge to achieve an optimal closing rate. For heavier cabinet doors, two soft-close hinges are recommended.

Cup-Hole Distance Explained

Cup-hole distance is the measurement from the edge of the cabinet door to the closest edge of the concealed hinge cup hole. Correct cup-hole positioning is important for achieving the intended overlay and ensuring proper hinge installation.
