The CMT Carbide Tipped Hole Saw is designed for fast, clean, and precise hole cutting across a wide range of materials. Featuring durable carbide-tipped tungsten teeth, this 3-1/4-in. diameter hole saw delivers long cutting life and fast drilling performance. With a 2-1/16-in. cutting depth, it is well suited for woodworking, construction, remodeling, and installation applications.
Engineered to cut both soft and hard materials, this CMT hole saw can be used on softwoods, hardwoods, chipboard, plywood, MDF, plastic, gypsum and plasterboard, tiles, solid brick, aerated concrete block, lightweight aggregate block, breeze block, and soft-density lime-sand stone block with a maximum hardness of 30 N/mm2.
CMT's hole saw system allows you to enlarge an existing hole without relying on complicated setups. By mounting two hole saws together, the smaller saw follows the existing opening while the larger saw cuts the new, larger diameter.
Important: If the two hole saws use different shank sizes, a stepped shank such as CMT-Sh350-DB1 is required. Hole enlargement requires a minimum difference of 9 mm (23/64-in.) between the diameters of the two hole saws.
With its large 3-1/4-in. diameter, durable carbide-tipped teeth, and versatile material compatibility, this CMT hole saw is an excellent choice for creating clean, accurate openings for woodworking, cabinetmaking, remodeling, plumbing, electrical work, and general construction applications.
Note: Shanks are sold separately.
