The CMT Carbide Tipped Hole Saw is designed for fast, precise cutting through a wide range of materials. With a 2-9/16-in. cutting diameter and 2-1/16-in. cutting depth, this hole saw is an excellent choice for woodworking, remodeling, construction, and general-purpose drilling applications. Carbide-tipped tungsten teeth provide long cutting life and fast material removal while maintaining clean, accurate cuts.
This versatile hole saw can be used on soft and hard woods, chipboard, plywood, MDF, plastic, gypsum/plasterboard, tiles, solid brick, aerated concrete block, lightweight aggregate block, breeze block, and soft-density lime-sand stone block with a maximum hardness of 30 N/mm2.
Whether you are installing plumbing, electrical components, hardware, or other fixtures, this CMT hole saw provides a versatile solution for creating clean, accurately sized openings. Its carbide-tipped construction makes it suitable for demanding applications across woodworking, renovation, construction, and installation projects.
CMT makes precision hole enlargement simple by allowing two compatible hole saws to be mounted together. Follow these steps:
Important: If the two hole saws use different shank sizes, the stepped shank CMT-Sh350-DB1 is required. Hole enlargement requires a minimum difference of 9 mm (23/64-in.) between the two hole saw diameters.
For demanding hole-cutting applications, the CMT Carbide Tipped Hole Saw combines durable carbide teeth, fast attachment, precise drilling, and convenient plug removal in one versatile design. Choose the appropriate CMT shank and use this 2-9/16-in. hole saw for reliable cutting across a broad range of wood, plastic, tile, and masonry materials.
Note: Shanks are sold separately.
