Carbide-tipped tungsten teeth provide the durability and cutting performance needed for demanding applications, while the hex shank design helps maximize non-slip power transfer between the drill and hole saw. The fast-lock attachment system allows compatible hole saw sizes to be installed quickly without tools.

Precision Hole Enlargement

Need to enlarge an existing hole? This system allows two hole saws to be mounted together for controlled and precise hole enlargement. The larger hole saw follows the existing opening while the smaller hole saw helps guide the cutting assembly.

How to Enlarge an Existing Hole

1. Load the larger hole saw by sliding it from the back of the shank until it reaches the ring stop.
2. Load the smaller hole saw from the front of the shank until it reaches the ring stop, then click it into place.
3. Insert the assembled hole saw into the drill with the larger hole saw seated against the chuck.

Important: Hole enlargement requires a minimum difference of 9 mm (23/64-in.) between the two hole saw diameters. If the two hole saws use different shank sizes, the CMT-Sh350-DB1 stepped shank is required.

Easy Plug Removal

After drilling, removing the cut plug is simple. Reverse the drill bit to help release the plug quickly and efficiently from the hole saw.
