The CMT Carbide Tipped Hole Saw is engineered for fast, precise hole cutting across a wide range of materials. With durable carbide-tipped tungsten teeth, this 1-3/8-in. hole saw delivers long-lasting cutting performance and efficient drilling through soft and hard woods, chipboard, plywood, MDF, plastic, gypsum/plasterboard, tiles, and select masonry materials.
Designed for demanding cutting applications, the CMT hole saw provides a 2-1/16-in. cutting depth and is suitable for materials with a maximum hardness of 30 N/mm2. The carbide-tipped teeth help maintain a sharp, efficient cutting edge for faster drilling and extended tool life.
The CMT hole saw system allows you to enlarge existing holes with precision by mounting two hole saws together. This makes it possible to expand an existing opening without relying on improvised guides or difficult setup methods.
For hole enlargement applications, the two hole saws must have a minimum diameter difference of at least 9 mm (23/64-in.). If the two hole saws use different shank sizes, the stepped shank CMT-Sh350-DB1 is required.
This listing is for the 1-3/8-in. CMT Carbide Tipped Hole Saw. Shanks are sold separately. Select the appropriate CMT shank or arbor for your drilling application.
