Versatile Hole Cutting Performance
Designed for professional and general-purpose applications, this CMT hole saw can cut soft and hard woods, chipboard, plywood, MDF, plastic, gypsum and plasterboard, tiles, solid brick, aerated concrete block, lightweight aggregate block, breeze block, and soft-density lime-sand stone block with a maximum hardness of 30 N/mm2.

Precision Hole Enlargement
Need to enlarge an existing hole? CMT's hole saw system allows you to combine two hole saws for precise hole enlargement. Mount the larger hole saw and smaller hole saw together according to the recommended procedure, then drill using the larger hole saw as the cutting guide.
How to Enlarge an Existing Hole
- Load the larger hole saw by sliding it from the back of the shank to the ring stop.
- Load the smaller hole saw from the front of the shank to the ring stop and click it securely into place.
- Insert the assembly into the drill with the larger hole saw seated against the chuck.
Important: If the two hole saws use different shank sizes, the stepped shank CMT-Sh350-DB1 is required. Hole enlargement requires a minimum difference of 9 mm (23/64-in.) between the diameters of the two hole saws.
Fast Plug Removal
Removing the cut plug is quick and convenient. Reverse the drill bit to help release the plug from the hole saw, minimizing downtime between cuts.
