Need to enlarge a hole? CMT has you covered. Simply follow these steps:
- Load the larger hole saw by sliding the saw from the back of the shank to the ring stop.
- Load the smaller hole saw from the front of the shank to the ring stop and click in place.
- Insert into drill with the larger hole saw seated against the chuck.
If the two hole saws have a different shank size, then you will need the stepped shank (CMT-SH550-DB1)
Hole enlargement requires a minimum difference in the two hole saw diameters of at least 9 mm (23/64 in.)
