The CMT 1-1/8-in. Carbide Tipped Hole Saw delivers fast, precise cutting and long service life across a wide range of materials. Featuring durable carbide-tipped tungsten teeth and a fast-lock attachment system, this hole saw is designed for efficient drilling without requiring tools to change compatible hole saw sizes.
With a 2-1/16-in. cutting depth, this CMT hole saw is suitable for drilling clean, accurate holes in soft and hard woods, chipboard, plywood, MDF, plastic, gypsum and plasterboard, tiles, solid brick, aerated concrete block, lightweight aggregate block, breeze block, and soft-density lime-sand stone with a maximum hardness of 30 N/mm2.
This carbide-tipped hole saw is engineered for versatile drilling applications. Use it on a variety of woodworking, construction, remodeling, and installation materials, including wood products, plastics, tile, plasterboard, and select masonry materials.
The CMT system allows two hole saws to be mounted together for accurately enlarging an existing hole. To enlarge a hole:
Important: If the two hole saws use different shank sizes, the stepped shank CMT-Sh350-DB1 is required. Hole enlargement requires a minimum difference of 9 mm (23/64-in.) between the two hole saw diameters.
Note: Shanks are sold separately.
