The Apollo Blue Standard "C" Cap for 7500 & 7700 Series Spray Guns is an air cap accessory made by ApolloSprayers for their 7500 and 7700 series HVLP spray guns.

It’s part of Apollo’s Standard air cap system, designed for general-purpose finishing work (clear coats, enamels, and medium-to-heavy materials).

What it does

• The “C” cap controls how the spray fan and atomization behave
• It’s typically paired with 1.8 mm and 2.0 mm needle/nozzle sizes
• Best suited for:
  • Thicker paints
  • Primers
  • Heavier coatings
  • Thinned latex or industrial finishes

Where it fits in the system

Apollo organizes caps by material flow:

• A / B caps → lighter materials (stains, clear coats)
• C cap → medium-heavy materials
• D cap → very heavy/high-volume coatings

So the “C” cap sits in the middle-to-heavy spray range of the system.

Important note

There’s also a High-Solids (HS) version of the C cap, which is similar but tuned for thicker, higher-viscosity coatings:

• Standard C cap = general use
• HS C cap = heavier, thicker materials (less thinning needed)
