Now there is a drywall anchor that lets you know when it is properly installed and that stays in place when you remove the fastener. Togglers new SnapSkru Self-drilling drywall anchor is easy to install. Does it have an audible or pop? When the screw has penetrated far enough to open the anchor legs, and will not unthread itself if you need to remove the screw. To install, thread the anchor into 3/8" to 5/8" thick drywall until the flange is flush with the surface. Then use a #6 to #10 screw that is at least 1-1/4" longer than the thickness of the item to be secured. When the SnapSkru pops, the anchor is properly installed. Made from glass-filled nylon.
