Tapered Plug Cutter 5/8 in.

How often have you carefully matched the grain of the plugs you cut, only to find that the hole is a fraction oversize so that the glue line makes each plug look like a miniature bulls-eye?

Snappy Plug cutters are tapered so that they form a tight fit.

  • Always bore to the maximum depth of the cutter
  • Drill the plug using a 800-1000 rpm drill
  • Pop out the plug with a screwdriver and insert the chamfered end in the hole
  • Tap it with a hammer and trim the remaining plug flush to the surface
  • Plug cutter has a 1/4 in. hex quick change shank
