KLINGSPOR'S self-adhering silicon carbide paper rolls can be used for a number of different applications. Two of those are rubbing finishes and sharpening. When finishing with Danish Oil, this wet/dry paper can not only be used between each coat, but can be used to rub in the oil itself. Working progressively through the grit range, you will achieve the smoothest and deepest looking oil finish possible. For sharpening, stick the abrasive to a flat surface and simply treat it like a sharpening stone. It's amazing how this will not only sharpen, but polish your chisels and plane irons.

You can use with any system that has a flat surface like a Plate Glass System or you can make your own by purchasing a 12 in. square by 1/4 in. piece of Plate Glass and putting small rubber feet on each side.

Use with the Honing Guide and you will have very sharp tools and less of a safety risk from using dull tools.
