Klingspor Peel & Stick Abrasive Rolls provide a convenient, versatile solution for fine sanding, finish rubbing, polishing, and sharpening applications. This 280-grit silicon carbide abrasive features a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing that securely adheres to clean, flat surfaces and can be used for both wet and dry applications.

The fine 280-grit abrasive is particularly well suited for woodworking finish work. Use it between coats of Danish Oil and other finishes to create an exceptionally smooth surface. The wet/dry construction also allows the abrasive to be used to rub oil into the wood, helping produce a smooth, rich, and deep-looking finish when progressing through multiple grits.

This abrasive roll is also an excellent choice for sharpening chisels, plane irons, and other woodworking tools. Simply adhere the abrasive to a smooth, flat surface and use it much like a sharpening stone. Silicon carbide provides effective cutting action while also helping polish the tool edge for a refined finish.

For a simple sharpening station, apply the abrasive to a flat surface such as a plate glass system. You can also create your own sharpening surface using a 12 in. square piece of 1/4 in. plate glass fitted with small rubber feet.
