Designed for face-frame cabinets, this kit makes it easier to achieve precise door positioning, smooth operation, and reliable soft-close performance.

• The Tiomos hinge system provides three-dimensional adjustment for precise door positioning:
  • Depth adjustment (+3/-2 mm): A worm gear built into the hinge provides continuous, self-locking depth adjustment.
  • Side adjustment (±2 mm): Side-to-side positioning is adjusted directly on the hinge arm.
  • Height adjustment (±2 mm): The mounting plate included in this kit provides height adjustment through a worm gear.

160° Opening Angle

The 160° opening angle provides generous access to the cabinet interior, making Tiomos a practical choice for applications where wide door opening and convenient access are important.

Achieved Overlay Based on Common Cup-Hole Distance

• The door overlay is determined by a combination of three factors: the cup-hole distance, the hinge type, and the mounting-plate height.
• This kit is based on a cup-hole distance between 4 and 6 mm (5/32 in. to 15/64 in.). If your cup-hole distance falls outside this range, contact McFeely's Technical Support for assistance selecting the correct hinge and mounting-plate combination.

Door Thickness

• This kit is designed for cabinet doors up to 24 mm (approximately 15/16 in.) thick.
• If your cabinet doors are thicker than 24 mm, contact McFeely's Technical Support for help selecting the appropriate hinge components.

Single Door Kit

This kit is configured for one cabinet door and provides the hinge and mounting-plate combination needed for the specified face-frame, 160° opening, soft-close, and 1/2 in. overlay application.

Soft-Close Hinge Performance

For most cabinet doors, a combination of one soft-close hinge and one self-close hinge provides an optimal closing rate. Heavier doors should use two soft-close hinges for improved control and closing performance.

Important Cup-Hole Measurement

Cup-hole distance is the measurement from the edge of the cabinet door to the closest edge of the hinge cup hole. Accurate measurement is important when selecting the proper Tiomos hinge and mounting-plate combination for the desired overlay.
