Grass Tiomos is an advanced concealed hinge system engineered for smooth cabinet door operation, precise alignment, and easy adjustment. Its sophisticated internal mechanism remains hidden inside the hinge while providing controlled movement and dependable self-closing action.

The Tiomos hinge uses advanced kinematics to make cabinet doors easy to open and smooth to close. The hinge mechanism also supports precise door alignment with consistently small gaps, making it well suited for high-quality cabinet installations.

Three-Dimensional Adjustment

Tiomos hinges provide convenient three-dimensional adjustment, allowing the cabinet door to be accurately positioned after installation. Adjustments are designed for precision and stability without requiring complicated procedures.

• Depth adjustment (+3/-2 mm): A built-in worm gear provides continuous, self-locking depth adjustment for accurate door positioning.
• Side adjustment (±2 mm): The adjustment mechanism on the hinge arm allows precise lateral positioning of the door.
• Height adjustment (±2 mm): The mounting plate uses an integrated worm gear to provide precise vertical adjustment.

3/4 in. Door Overlay

This Grass Tiomos hinge and mounting plate combination is configured for a 3/4 in. overlay on face-frame cabinets. The achieved overlay depends on the hinge design, mounting plate height, and cup-hole distance.

Cup-Hole Distance

• The recommended cup-hole distance for this hinge and plate combination is 4 to 6 mm (5/32 to 15/64 in.).
• Cup-hole distance is measured from the edge of the cabinet door to the closest edge of the hinge cup hole.
• If your cup-hole distance falls outside the specified range, contact McFeely's Technical Support to determine the appropriate hinge and mounting plate combination.

Door Thickness

The Tiomos 110° Face Frame Self-Close hinge is suitable for cabinet doors up to 24 mm (approximately 15/16 in.) thick. For doors thicker than 24 mm, contact McFeely's Technical Support for assistance in selecting compatible hinge components.

Self-Close Hinge Performance

The self-close mechanism is designed to bring the cabinet door smoothly toward the closed position once the door reaches the appropriate closing range. For most cabinet doors, combining one self-close hinge with one soft-close hinge can provide an optimal closing rate. Heavier doors should use two soft-close hinges for additional controlled closing performance.
