An exterior-rated penetrating oil designed to protect, preserve, and maintain exterior wood surfaces.
General Finishes Outdoor Oil is a durable, penetrating wood finish formulated specifically for exterior woodworking projects. Its oil-based formula penetrates the wood to help nourish and protect the surface while providing long-lasting maintenance and preservation. It is an excellent choice for outdoor furniture and a wide range of exterior wood applications.
Outdoor Oil contains UV stabilizers to help protect wood from the damaging effects of sunlight, along with mildew inhibitors to help resist the growth of mildew on the finished surface. With twice the oil content of competing brands, this penetrating finish provides rich coverage and deep wood protection while helping exterior wood maintain its appearance over time.
Versatile Exterior Wood Protection
General Finishes Outdoor Oil can be used as a standalone finish or applied over stained wood for additional protection. It is suitable for use on a variety of exterior wood projects, including outdoor furniture and other wood surfaces exposed to changing weather conditions. The finish can also be applied to pressure-treated wood, making it a versatile option for both new and maintenance applications.

Important Application Note
Outdoor Oil may not adhere properly to extremely oily exotic woods. Always consider the characteristics of the wood species before application and test the finish on a small, inconspicuous area to confirm compatibility and desired results.

Shipping Notice: This product can only ship by UPS, FedEx Ground, or truck freight. Air and sea shipments are not permitted. Due to its VOC content, General Finishes Outdoor Oil cannot be shipped to California.
