You know the mushrooming effect you used to get when driving screws into composites? That was frustrating until composite deck screws solved the problem! Cutting deck boards to length can be just as frustrating if you don't use this Diablo Trex blade. A modified triple-chip grind tooth configuration, coupled with a nonstick Perma-SHIELD coating, reduces material melting. It also uses a high-density carbide tooth to maximize the blade life. The blade has a thin kerf, reducing material removal and drag at lower blade temperatures. Less heat = less gumming = longer life.
