Important Usage Tips

• Do not use a percussion or hammer drill setting.
• For the 1-3/8-in. hole saw, always pre-drill using the appropriate center drill before beginning the hole.
• Cooling wax is recommended for improved drilling performance. CMT-552-WAX is recommended.
• Water cooling is not necessary when using the recommended cooling wax.

1-3/8-in. Faucet Hole Size

The 1-3/8-in. diameter is an international standard size for faucet holes, making this diameter particularly useful for plumbing and sink installation applications. Always follow the recommended pre-drilling procedure before using the 1-3/8-in. hole saw.

Select the Proper Shank

The correct shank must be selected according to the hole saw diameter. Use the 25/64-in. (10 mm) shank for hole saw sizes up to 1-3/16-in. For hole saws measuring 1-1/4-in. and larger, use the 1/2-in. (13 mm) shank.
