The CMT Carbide-Tipped Hole Saw delivers fast, clean, and precise hole cutting across a wide range of materials. Designed with durable tungsten carbide teeth, this 4-in. hole saw provides long-lasting cutting performance and a 2-1/16-in. cutting depth for demanding woodworking, construction, remodeling, and installation applications.

Ideal for cutting soft and hard woods, chipboard, plywood, MDF, plastic, gypsum/plasterboard, tiles, solid brick, aerated concrete block, lightweight aggregate block, breeze block, and soft-density lime-sand stone block with a maximum hardness of 30 N/mm².

How to Enlarge an Existing Hole

1. Load the larger hole saw by sliding it from the back of the shank until it reaches the ring stop.
2. Load the smaller hole saw from the front of the shank until it reaches the ring stop, then click it securely into place.
3. Insert the assembled shank into the drill with the larger hole saw seated against the chuck.

Important: If the two hole saws use different shank sizes, the stepped shank CMT-Sh350-DB1 is required. Hole enlargement requires a minimum difference of 9 mm (23/64-in.) between the two hole saw diameters.

Fast Plug Removal

After drilling, removing the cut plug is quick and convenient. Simply reverse the drill bit to help release the plug from the hole saw, minimizing downtime between cuts.
