T-STAR Drive for Reliable Installation

SPAX® T-STAR® drive technology features a six-lobe star-shaped recess designed for positive bit engagement and excellent torque transfer. The deep drive recess helps resist cam-out during installation and makes it easier to remove fasteners when necessary, including applications where the head is countersunk.

SPAX 4CUT Point and Thread Technology

The SPAX® 4CUT® point is designed to penetrate wood fibers efficiently and provide a fast initial grip. Its arrow-shaped tip helps reduce splitting and lowers the insertion torque required during installation. Depending on the wood species and application, pre-drilling may not be necessary. For hardwoods, SPAX recommends pre-drilling even when using the 4CUT point.
