3/16-in. Un-Flanged Alligator Anchors provide reliable, high-strength fastening in concrete, brick, stone, drywall, hollow block, and other challenging substrates. The specially formulated polypropylene anchor body expands and flows into the imperfections and undercuts of the drilled hole, helping lock the screw securely in place while sealing the hole against moisture.
Designed for push-through mounting, the un-flanged design allows the anchor to be installed through the item being fastened. These versatile drywall anchors maintain a strong hold even when unexpected cavities or variations in the hole are encountered, making them a dependable choice for a wide range of installation applications.
Reliable Holding Power
Designed for high-load fastening in concrete, brick, stone, drywall, hollow brick, and hollow block
Can provide up to 2X the holding power of metal, adhesive, epoxy, and chemical anchors with the same screw diameter and embedment depth in solid materials
Special polypropylene body locks into undercuts and imperfections in the hole for a secure connection
Bonds the screw to the wall while helping seal the drilled hole against moisture
Maintains strong holding power even with variations in screw size and hole diameter
Resists vibration and shock for dependable long-term fastening
Accepts a wide range of screw sizes for installation flexibility
Screw can be removed and reinserted into the same anchor without losing holding power
Uniquely shaped head helps prevent the anchor from spinning and allows it to countersink
Non-toxic and designed for instant setting
Corrosion-proof when installed with stainless steel screws
Un-Flanged Design for Push-Through Installation
The un-flanged Alligator anchor is designed for applications where the anchor can be pushed completely through the material and into the substrate. For installations where a cavity is anticipated, such as drywall or hollow brick, a flanged Alligator anchor may be preferred to help prevent the anchor from passing through the hole.
Solid Wall Installation
Drill a hole into the wall using a drill bit the same diameter as the anchor. The hole should be at least twice the length of the anchor.
Push the anchor into the drilled hole and tap it flush with the wall using a hammer.
Position the item to be mounted over the anchor, insert the screw, and tighten it flush with the item. For best results, use a screw gun.
