Mounts independently of the hinge
Now you can add soft close to your kitchen cabinets without having to attach them to the hinges (easy retrofitting!). The UniSoft door closure mounts in the corner and can be adjusted for closing rate with the turn of a Phillips or Pozi Drive screw or even manually. A brushed nickel finish blends in well with most existing hardware. They work on face frame cabinets on all door overlays and with frameless cabinets on full door overlays. Easy to mount! A front bumper cushions the door for quiet close. One (1) Pan Head # 6 x ¾” screw (0606-TRL) per soft close unit is included for installation. Made in Germany.

I ordered a few to try first and they worked so well (after some modifications) I ordered more for all my kitchen cabinets. My wife loves the way they softly close the doors. I did have to grind down the inner piston rod about 3/16 inch to make them work with my hinges but once completed they work very well.

Apparently the hings on my cabinets do not have a strong enough closing spring. They would not activate the closer.
