Now there is an easy to install shelf and lid support that adjusts to suit a wide variety of installation requirements. This easy to install support can be mounted in either a right or left-hand configuration so that just one lid support is suitable for virtually any conceivable woodworking project, and it handles lids or shelves up to 20 pounds in either a “lift-up” (toy box) or “drop-down” (writing desk) mode. Braking tension adjusts with a 4mm hex key. The stop can be set to either 75 or 90 degrees of travel. Mounting holes are compatible with the 32mm system. Installs with user-supplied #6 screws. Made in Taiwan.
