The Amish choose not to use power sources; Thus, they frequently rely on hand tools. Yankee-style push drivers (spiral ratchet) remain popular with woodworkers because of the smooth action and control afforded by this style of driver. An Amish gentleman, who used a Yankee driver enough to know that it could be improved, invented a magnetic bit holder adapter that secures 1/4" hex bits in a collet.
Collet includes a freely rotating collar (zinc plated and knurled) to allow the user to grip the holder close to the work piece for added control
These are available in all three Yankee sizes.
These push-style drivers are chrome plated.
BSM-1004 includes #1 and #2 Phillips, 3F-4R, 4F-5R, 5F-6R slotted bits.
