Tormek® Stainless Steel Shaft
The Tormek® EzyLock ensures that the grindstone is held securely, eliminating the risk of the stone unwinding during use. Its unique design allows the grindstone to be mounted and removed by hand without tools.
The EzyLock combines the nut and washer into one convenient component. Its specially designed left-hand thread uses the rotation of the wheel to tighten the nut to the correct torque during operation automatically.
To mount the grindstone, turn the EzyLock nut anticlockwise by hand into position. It will automatically tighten to the proper torque during the first sharpening. When changing the grindstone, turn the stone clockwise while holding the leather honing wheel with your other hand. The EzyLock will then loosen easily for quick removal.
This design makes it convenient to switch between different Tormek® grindstones, including the Tormek Original Grindstone, Blackstone Silicon for High Speed Steel, and 4000 Grit Japanese Waterstone.
Fits Tormek T-8, Tormek T-7, Tormek 2000, and older Tormek models with a 250 mm stone diameter.
