Tired of countersinks that slip on the drill bit after one or two holes? After tightening the set screw half a dozen times, the drill bit is usually so scarred up that there is no hope of any further adjustment. These countersinks are designed so that the countersink locks onto the hex shank instead of the drill bit itself - slippage is eliminated!
Drill a pilot hole and countersink or counter-bore for standard screws.
Note: When selecting the right size countersink, certain sizes of pilot hole drills specify the clearance hole size. A clearance hole will allow a screw to pass through it without the threads biting into the material.

- (1) 5/64 in. pilot hole drill with 3/8 in. countersink bore, Pilot hole for #3 and 4 Screws
- (1) 3/32 in. pilot hole drill with 3/8 in. countersink bore, Pilot hole and Counterbore for #6 to 9 Screws
- (1) 7/64 in. pilot hole drill with 3/8 in. countersink bore, Pilot hole and Counterbore for #7 and 8 Screws
- (1) 1/8 in. pilot hole drill with 3/8 in. countersink bore, Pilot hole for #8 and 9 screws and Counterbore #6 to 9 Screws
- (1) 9/64 in. pilot hole drill with 1/2 in. countersink bore, Pilot hole for #9 10 screws and Counterbore for #10, 12 and 14
- 1/8 in. hex wrench.
- Sizing of pilot holes can change with hard and softwood. Your depth setting on the counterbore is important. This is designed to cover the most popular applications
