Countertop Connector

Now you do not need a router when mitering or joining countertops.

FastCap Quikdraw connector require no routing or drilling to achieve a tight joint, and they automatically create a smooth top surface assuming that material thicknesses are consistent. Using Quikdraw embossed centerline, align the halves to bridge the underside of the countertop joint, then fasten them along both edges using six #6 x 5/8 flat head screws.

Thick ABS plastic and is 12" in length. Note that the QwikDraw halves must be separated before they are screwed down.

Once fastened, use mini or micro sized pistol grip, squeeze type clamps with FastCap clamp pads the red jaw pads on the clamps shown in use to grasp the edges of the Quikdraw halves and pull them together. The FastCap clamp pads replace the factory pads on most popular squeeze type clamps and have small grooves at the tips which mate with the edges of the QwikDraw plates they are essential to ensure proper installation. Once clamped, secure the tightly joined countertop with screws fastened through the remaining fingers. Qwikdraw strips are roughly 3 1/4 wide when installed but just 1/8 thick; they are easily cut with a hand or power saw.
