DMT Magna-Disc Honing - Sharpening Kit

The DMT Dia-Sharp Magna system works with the WorkSharp WS2000 and WS3000 machines. The kit includes diamond discs, in 25 micron (fine) to put a finish edge on a maintained tool and 45 micron (coarse) grits to re-sharpen neglected edges. Diamond discs outlast paper discs by 50-1 and keep heat way from building up on the tool being sharpened so their heat treat doesn't get ruined in the sharpening process. Using the Magna-Disc makes changing the abrasive disk fast and easy. The Magna Disc conducts heat away so it is cooler and safer, with no sparks. The Dia-Sharp Honing Kit comes with the Magna-Disc, an extra-fine (9 micron) diamond disc and a cloth disc to be used with the diamond paste (3 micron) which is included.
