Tormek® Leather Honing Wheel

The Tormek® Leather Honing Wheel gently removes the burr left behind after grinding and polishes the edge to a razor-sharp finish. It is an essential accessory for achieving a smooth, refined cutting edge on your tools.

When using the wheel for the first time, impregnate the leather with light machine oil to soften and condition it. Then apply honing compound and rotate the wheel by hand to distribute the compound evenly across the leather.

Important: Always hone away from the edge. Honing toward the edge can cut and damage the leather wheel.
