Grass Tiomos FL - 160 Deg., Self-Close, 5/8 Overlay - Single Door Kit

Grass Tiomos Frameless 160° Self-Close Hinge - 5/8 in. Overlay Single Door Kit

Frameless (Euro Style) Cabinet Application

The Grass Tiomos Frameless 160° Self-Close Hinge Kit is designed for full-access, European-style frameless cabinets. This single-door hinge kit combines wide 160-degree opening capability, smooth self-closing action, and precise three-dimensional adjustment to help achieve accurate cabinet door alignment and consistent operation.

Designed for Frameless European-Style Cabinets

• Full-access cabinet design: Frameless cabinets have no face frame, allowing doors and drawers to attach directly to the cabinet box and providing greater access to the available storage space.
• 5/8 in. overlay: This hinge and mounting plate combination is configured to achieve a 5/8 in. door overlay when used with the specified cup-hole distance.
• 160° opening: The wide opening angle provides excellent access to cabinet interiors and is ideal for applications where maximum door clearance is desired.
• Single-door kit: Includes the Grass Tiomos hinge components needed for one cabinet door, excluding screws.

Grass Tiomos Hinge Technology

Grass Tiomos is an innovative concealed cabinet hinge system engineered for smooth movement, precise adjustment, and reliable self-closing performance. Advanced kinematics are built into the hinge, allowing the internal mechanism to remain concealed while delivering easy door movement and precise cabinet door alignment.

Three-Dimensional Cabinet Door Adjustment

The Tiomos hinge system provides independent adjustment in three directions, making it easier to achieve consistent gaps and accurate door positioning during cabinet installation.

• Depth adjustment (+3/-2 mm): A continuous, self-locking worm-gear mechanism provides precise depth adjustment.
• Side adjustment (±2 mm): Lateral door alignment is adjusted directly on the hinge arm.
• Height adjustment (±2 mm): The mounting plate included with this kit provides vertical adjustment through a worm-gear mechanism.

5/8 in. Overlay Based on Cup-Hole Distance

The final cabinet door overlay is determined by a combination of the cup-hole distance, hinge style, and mounting plate height. This Grass Tiomos kit is designed around a cup-hole distance between 4 and 6 mm (5/32 in. to 15/64 in.).

Important: If your cabinet door has a cup-hole distance outside this range, contact McFeely's Technical Support to determine the correct Grass Tiomos hinge and mounting plate combination for your application.

Door Thickness Compatibility

This Grass Tiomos 160° hinge kit is suitable for cabinet doors up to 24 mm (approximately 15/16 in.) thick. For doors thicker than 24 mm, contact McFeely's Technical Support for assistance selecting the appropriate hinge components.

Self-Close Hinge Configuration

For most cabinet doors, a combination of one soft-close hinge and one self-close hinge provides an optimal closing rate. Heavier cabinet doors should use two soft-close hinges for improved closing performance.
