The Grass® Tiomos® 110° Frameless Soft-Close Single Door Kit is designed for European-style, full-access cabinets without a face frame. This complete hinge and mounting plate combination is configured to provide a 5/8-in. door overlay while delivering smooth, controlled closing and precise three-dimensional adjustment.

• Frameless cabinet doors attach directly to the cabinet box rather than to a face frame.
• The full-access design eliminates the face frame, providing greater access to the cabinet interior.
• Frameless construction allows wider doors and drawers because there is no face frame or center lip restricting the opening.
• Frameless cabinets can provide approximately 15% more usable storage space than traditional framed cabinets.

Tiomos 110° Soft-Close Hinge Technology

Grass Tiomos hinges combine advanced hinge kinematics with integrated soft-close technology for smooth, effortless cabinet door operation. The concealed mechanism controls the closing motion and helps prevent doors from slamming, while the adjustable hinge design makes it easy to achieve accurate door alignment.

Three-Dimensional Cabinet Door Adjustment

The Tiomos hinge system provides independent adjustment in three directions, making it easier to align cabinet doors and maintain consistent gaps during installation or adjustment.

• Depth Adjustment (±3/2 mm): A continuous, self-locking worm-gear adjustment allows precise control of the door position relative to the cabinet.
• Side Adjustment (±2 mm): Side-to-side positioning can be adjusted directly on the hinge arm for accurate door gaps.
• Height Adjustment (±2 mm): The included mounting plate provides height adjustment through an integrated worm gear.

Designed for a 5/8-In. Door Overlay

This Grass Tiomos hinge and plate combination is specifically configured for a 5/8-in. overlay on frameless cabinets. The achieved overlay depends on the relationship between the hinge cup-hole distance, hinge style, and mounting plate height.

• Cup-Hole Distance: This kit is based on a cup-hole distance between 4 and 6 mm (5/32 to 15/64 in.).

Cabinet Door Thickness

This kit is designed for cabinet doors up to 24 mm (approximately 15/16 in.) thick. For doors thicker than 24 mm, contact McFeely's Technical Support to determine the appropriate Tiomos hinge components.

Soft-Close Hinge Configuration

For most cabinet doors, Grass recommends combining one soft-close hinge with one self-close hinge to provide an optimal closing rate. Heavier cabinet doors should use two soft-close hinges for additional closing control.

What Is Cup-Hole Distance?

Cup-hole distance is the measurement from the edge of the cabinet door to the closest edge of the hinge cup hole. Proper cup-hole positioning is important when selecting the correct hinge and mounting plate combination for the desired door overlay.
