Frameless (Euro-Style) Cabinet Application

The Grass® Tiomos® 110° Frameless Self-Close Single Door Kit is designed for full-access, European-style cabinets without a face frame. The hinge mounts directly to the cabinet box and provides a 3/4-in. door overlay with smooth, controlled self-closing action.

• Full-access cabinets have no face frame, allowing cabinet doors and drawers to attach directly to the cabinet box.
• The frameless design provides unobstructed access to the cabinet interior and allows for wider doors and drawers.
• Frameless construction is a cabinet design style, not an indication of lower quality.
• Full-access cabinetry can provide approximately 15% more usable storage space than traditional framed cabinets.

Tiomos 110° Hinge Technology

Grass Tiomos combines advanced hinge kinematics with precise adjustment for smooth, effortless cabinet door operation. The self-close mechanism helps pull the door securely into the closed position without the need for a separate catch.

Three-Dimensional Adjustment

The Tiomos hinge system makes it easy to fine-tune cabinet door alignment after installation. Independent adjustments help create consistent reveals and precise door positioning.

• Depth adjustment (+3/-2 mm): A continuous, self-locking worm-gear adjustment allows precise control of the door's position relative to the cabinet.
• Side adjustment (±2 mm): Lateral alignment is adjusted directly on the hinge arm for accurate door spacing.
• Height adjustment (±2 mm): The included mounting plate uses an integrated worm gear for precise vertical positioning.

3/4-In. Door Overlay

This single door kit is configured to achieve a 3/4-in. overlay on compatible frameless cabinets. The actual overlay is determined by the combination of hinge geometry, cup-hole distance, and mounting plate height.

• Cup-hole distance: This kit is based on a cup-hole distance between 4 and 6 mm (5/32 in. to 15/64 in.).
• If your cup-hole distance falls outside this range, contact McFeely's Technical Support for assistance selecting the appropriate hinge and mounting plate combination.

Cabinet Door Compatibility

• Door thickness: Designed for cabinet doors up to 24 mm (approximately 15/16 in.) thick.
• For doors thicker than 24 mm, contact McFeely's Technical Support for help selecting the correct hinge components.

Self-Close Operation

The Tiomos self-close hinge is designed to provide smooth, controlled closing as the door approaches the fully closed position. For most cabinet doors, combining one soft-close hinge with one self-close hinge can provide an optimal closing rate. Heavier doors should use two soft-close hinges.

Single Door Kit

This kit provides the hinge and mounting plate combination needed for one cabinet door. The 110° opening angle is well suited to common frameless cabinet applications, while the three-dimensional adjustment system makes final door alignment straightforward.

Cup-Hole Distance

Cup-hole distance is the measurement from the edge of the cabinet door to the closest edge of the hinge cup hole. Accurate measurement is important when selecting the correct hinge and mounting plate combination and achieving the intended door overlay.
