The good news is that the water based dye stains dry fast! The bad news is that water based dye stains dry fast! Yes, you want them to dry fast so you can get to that second or third coat faster, but as a perfectionist, you want enough time to do it right. If you are working in an environment that is hot and dry, you may need a little more time to wipe off a stain or stroke out the top coat.
The EF-Extender will help retard the drying time of water based products so that they flow and level better in those extreme conditions. Just add it to the stain, paint or top coat; stir and work on your schedule.
