When a finished appearance matters, the Face-Grain 3/8 in. Wood Plug Kit provides an eFaceframeective way to conceal screw holes while maintaining a natural wood appearance. The flat-grain orientation of these plugs makes it possible to align the plug's grain with the surrounding surface, helping disguise the repaired hole when the appropriate wood species, grain pattern, and color are carefully selected.

Unlike end-grain plugs, face-grain plugs help avoid the darker appearance that can occur when end grain absorbs stain or finish more readily than the surrounding wood. This makes them an excellent choice for woodworking projects where a more uniform, finished appearance is desired.

This kit is specifically designed for use with #8 screws and includes the components needed to create clean, consistent countersunk holes and conceal the exposed screw heads with matching wood plugs.

The plugs feature a 2° taper for a secure fit and are 1/4 in. long. Each plug has a 33/64 in. top diameter and a 15/32 in. bottom diameter.
