The EazyPower® Hinge-Centering Drill Bit Set makes hinge installation faster, easier, and more accurate by automatically centering the drill bit within the hinge mounting hole. The self-centering sleeve and beveled alignment tip fit securely into the countersunk hole of a hinge or other hardware, positioning the drill precisely at the center of the mounting hole.

Once properly seated, the hinge-centering guide helps prevent the drill bit from wandering or shifting, allowing you to create accurately positioned pilot holes for mounting screws. This is especially useful when installing cabinet hinges, door hinges, hardware, and other applications where precise screw placement is important.

HOW IT WORKS:

The EazyPower® Hinge-Centering Drill Bit uses a precision self-centering sleeve to locate the exact center of a hinge mounting hole. The beveled tip seats into the countersink of the hardware, automatically aligning the drill bit before drilling begins.

1. Select the drill size appropriate for the screw being used.
2. Insert the drill bit into the hinge-centering sleeve.
3. Place the beveled tip into the countersunk mounting hole of the hinge or hardware.
4. Apply light, controlled pressure to keep the guide seated while drilling.
5. Drill the pilot hole through the hinge mounting hole and into the workpiece.
6. Remove the guide and install the mounting screw.
