These are the best and most useful bar clamps that any cabinetmaker could own. They provide Excellent Clamping Pressure At A Fraction Of The Weight Of Traditional Bar Clamps.

These are some of the most surprising bar clamps I have tried. They are disconcertingly light in weight, yet apply tremendous clamping pressure. You'll like the nice "feet" on each clamp that help keep the jaws pointed up (unlike some old pipe clamps you've probably used.

Clamps are made from extruded and injection molded aircraft grade aluminum components.

• The extruded bars are 1-3/8 in. tall by 7/8 in. wide with sidewall thickness nearly 1/8 in. making them rigid and resistant to twisting and bowing.
• The fixed head is fitted with a 1/2 in. diameter, ACME threaded screw with a swivel pad.
• The screw is tightened by a simple to use butterfly handle and can produce 1000 lb. of clamping force.
• Clamp faces are 1-5/8 in. tall making them ideal for material 3/4 in. to 1 in. thick.
• Clamps will not stain wood since the aluminum construction is non-reactive with water based wood glues.
• The moveable clamp pad has a spring loaded clutch that can be adjusted in 1/2 in. increments in slots along the clamp rail.
• Clamp heads are designed to sit upright on a work surface and raise the clamp so the handle can be turned.
• Overall length of the clamps is about 4 in. longer than the listed clamping capacity.
