CrystaLac® PolyOxide Wood Floor Finish is a heavy-duty, water-based polyurethane designed to provide durable protection for interior wood floors and other wood surfaces. Fortified with aluminum oxide and UV stabilizers, PolyOxide delivers excellent scuff resistance, long-lasting durability, and a beautiful semi-gloss appearance without the yellowing commonly associated with traditional oil-based polyurethane finishes.

PolyOxide combines rubber-tough, self-curing waterborne polyurethane resins with aluminum oxide for a tough protective finish that stands up to everyday wear. UV stabilization helps maintain the appearance of the finish over time, while its non-yellowing formulation helps preserve the natural look and color of the wood underneath.

Fast-Drying Water-Based Formula

PolyOxide is designed to make finishing projects faster and easier. The finish dries to the touch in approximately 35 minutes to 1 hour, and additional coats can be applied after about 2 hours. With multiple coats applied as recommended, many flooring projects can be completed in a single day.

Low Odor and Easy Cleanup

Easy Application

PolyOxide can be applied using a bristle brush, foam brush, lamb's wool applicator, wipe-on method, or spray equipment. Stir gently but thoroughly before use and do not shake. Apply 3 to 5 coats, with 4 or more coats recommended for maximum floor protection. Allow approximately 2 hours of drying time between coats.

Lightly scuff sand after the first coat to remove raised grain or wood fibers. Additional sanding between coats is generally not necessary. Do not use stearated sandpaper or tack cloths. Clean application tools with warm, soapy water after use. Any remaining finish can be stored in a clean, airtight container for future use.
