Choose the Proper Shank

Select the appropriate shank based on the diameter of the hole saw being used:

• Hole saws up to 1-3/16-in.: Use the CMT hex shank high-speed drill with a 25/64-in. (10 mm) shank diameter and 7-5/64-in. length, SKU CMT-Sh351-HS1.
• Hole saws 1-1/4-in. and larger: Use the CMT hex shank high-speed drill with a 1/2-in. (13 mm) shank diameter and 7-5/64-in. length, SKU CMT-Sh351-HS2.
