For material that has a fine veneer or wood prone to pulling up fibers, this blade will greatly reduce top-side splintering. How? Unlike most saw blades, these teeth cut in a reversed direction which means the teeth cut on the downward or push stroke. This shears the wood fibers on the top-side of the stock.
For those who have not used a reverse-tooth blade, the feel in your hands is different. As the cut occurs on the downward stroke, the saw can be pushed upwards. Simply apply a bit more pressure to prevent the saw from bucking.
NOTE: Not for pendulum / oscilating stroke. Use straight-cut setting on saw.
