The wafer-head screw is great for general wood-to-wood fastening where a low-profile head is needed.
A low-profile wafer head design provides a larger surface area for an aesthetically clean look. A versatile fastening solution for interior and exterior applications in a wide range of materials, including wood, concrete, masonry, sheet metal, plastic, and treated lumber.
Wings above the drill point provide a clearance hole in the workpiece so it won't climb up the shank; wings break off as the point engages the steel substrate.
