Ideal for use in constructing swing sets, docks, and decks.
Preferred for strong carriage bolt joints. Torque washers increase the bearing area under a carriage bolt's head, and prevent it from spinning as it is tightened.
FEATURES:
- 18 ga. Zinc-plate.
- 4 prongs that bite into the lumber to prevent spinning, and a central, square hole for the carriage bolt under-head square nut.
- Best suited for softwood and are not likely to give good results with tropical hardwoods like Ipe.
