The 3M™ Organic Vapor Cartridge/Filter 60921 combines formaldehyde and organic vapor protection with a P100 particulate filter in a convenient, swept-back design. NIOSH approved for protection against formaldehyde, certain organic vapors, and oil and non-oil particulates, this combination cartridge/filter is designed for use with compatible 3M™ reusable half and full facepiece respirators.

The 60921 cartridge/filter is well suited for a variety of professional applications, including laboratories, wood processing, carpet manufacturing, and primary metals manufacturing. Its swept-back configuration helps provide an enhanced field of view, improved balance, and comfortable wear while working in demanding environments.

Combined Vapor and Particulate Protection

This 3M™ combination cartridge/filter provides formaldehyde and certain organic vapor protection along with P100 particulate filtration. When properly fitted and used according to applicable requirements, it can help provide respiratory protection from formaldehyde, certain organic vapors, and oil and non-oil particulates at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or up to 50 times the PEL with full facepieces.

Comfortable Swept-Back Design

The swept-back design helps improve visibility and balance while keeping the cartridge profile positioned away from the user's primary field of view. The compact configuration makes the 60921 practical for applications where both respiratory protection and visibility are important.

Compatible 3M™ Reusable Respirators

The 60921 uses a bayonet-style connection and is designed for compatible 3M™ reusable respirators, including select 6000, 7000, 7500, 7800S, FF-400, and Rugged Comfort 6500 Series facepieces. The bayonet connection allows the cartridge/filter to be installed and removed as needed.

When used against formaldehyde with a half facepiece respirator, OSHA requires gas-proof goggles to be worn. Full facepieces must be quantitatively fit tested to claim an assigned protection factor above 10 in negative-pressure mode. This cartridge/filter is not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).
