Designed for use in the automatic doweling machines popularly used in European Cabinet assembly
This design has proven to be an improvement over the old spiral groove pins. The multiple straight grooves allow excess glue to escape more easily, resulting in more consistent assembly.
Multi-groove pins are also known as fluted pins. Multi-groove pins feature parallel grooves that extend the length of the pin. These parallel grooves allow air and excess glue to escape the hole which makes insertion easier and eliminates blowouts.
Ends are tapered to make insertion easier.
