That makes them perfect for tasks that are even too big for a #12 screw, especially exterior jobs. Unfortunately, lag screws up to the task that could handle challenging environments have been almost impossible to find. Now you don't need to redesign your project to get around the lag screw problem. These tough lag screws are plenty strong (up to 30% more torque capacity than standard steel lag screws), with all the corrosion resistance of 18-8 stainless steel.
