The extra sharp point aids in assembly operations. The specially engineered high-low thread cuts easily and quickly through dense materials. The specially designed teeth also “lock” them in place even with prolonged vibration in fiberglass and wood.

Stainless Steel screws provide superior corrosion resistance and are an alloy of steel, chromium, and nickel. Fasteners come in various grades of stainless steel. Exterior screws generally use either 304-stainless for most applications or 316-stainless for the most extreme salt spray, seaside or poolside applications. By its nature, stainless steel is a softer alloy than coated steel, although it has superior corrosion resistance.
