ProMax Optimized Thread Design to Reduce Board Jacking

FEATURES:

ProMax Screws have a longer un-threaded shank. Why? This feature prevents board jacking, that annoying problem when a board rides up the threads of the screw and causes the board to raise up. For example: A 2-3/8 in. screw used to install 5/4 in. decking needs slightly more than 1 in. of smooth shank, while a 2-7/8 in. screw used to install 1-1/2 in. thick 2x stock needs more.

Use NoCoRode Undersized driver bits for best results.
