TrapEase II composite decking screws are designed for installing composite decking as well as ACQ and CA-treated pressure-treated wood. The zinc-plated finish provides corrosion resistance in approved applications and is designed to help prevent rust and streaking when the screws are installed correctly.
Smooth, Professional-Looking Finish
The dual-thread design helps draw composite material back into the screw hole as the fastener is driven, helping create a clean, smooth surface. For best results, drive the screws slightly below flush with the deck surface to achieve the intended finished appearance.
Efficient Installation
These #10 trim-head screws feature a square drive and require a #1 Square Drive bit for installation. The gimlet point incorporates a cutting notch to help the screw penetrate decking material efficiently while reducing the need for additional preparation.
